We are planning to make Thomas Gaughan Community Centre an eco-building for Walker and we need your help!
We want to install renewable technology and reduce the amount of energy we use, to make Thomas Gaughan a centre that everyone can use without it costing the earth

We are a community centre managed by a volunteer management committee made up of local people and advisors.
Our location is in the eastend of Newcastle close to Walker Riverside. Our services range from employment advice,afterschool clubs, summer activities for children, cookery lessons for adults and children.
We have a community cafe situated in the rear of the building that offers low cost healthy food to the community.We also provide free internet access ,training, excercise classes, bingo sessions,playgroup parent and toddler group and an esol class.
