thePeoplesPower CIC is a not-for-profit organisation that helps people to join together to save money on their energy bills.

At present we cover collective switching of
- mains gas,
- electricity
- and green electricity.
- You could save money on your energy bills
- Its free and your under no obligation to do anything
- Its completely secure: we will not share your details with anyone else
- Any profits go towards community energy projects
- You can contribute to the campaign to make our energy market fairer
This model has already been tried and tested in Belgium, Holland and Germany, where hundreds of thousands of households have saved money on their energy bills - We decided it was time to follow their example and bring collective switching to the UK.
Our £2 referral fee passes more savings on to households and offers something more attractive to energy companies than the standard switching site (who charge energy companies somewhere between £40 and £70 per switch). We also provide members with the option to negotiate for green energy, in this way working to dispel the myth that green energy is an expensive luxury.

We are all about coming together for the benefit of the community. That's why we collaborate with other not for profit groups so that we can help people with limited access to the internet. These include Housing Associations, Citizens Advice Bureaus and Voluntary groups to name a few. Please get in touch (either via Energyshare, or our email teamATthePeoplesPower.co.uk) if your community group can help us reach beyond the "switching classes".
