About this group
We are a group based at Swansea University working to make homes in our local area warmer and more energy-efficient by encouraging landlords to make key changes, and tenants to make equally important behavioural changes.
We are keen to encourage the use of sustainable energy sources. By running a competition with local landlord networks, in partnership with Swansea University Students' Union's Environmental Campaign Network, we hope to be able to give the chance to the 'greenest' landlord network over the space of a year to win a years free electricity with Ecotricity to be used on a flagship 'eco-house' that will be used to raise awareness in cutting domestic carbon emissions. Runners up would be able to win prizes such as organic wine and electricity monitors.
