Once you've signed up to Cornwall Together and joined the group on energyshare don't forget that you can enter the competition to win a family day out at the Eden Project. And to make sure you don't go hungry we'll also be furnishing you with a luxury River Cottage hamper for your lunch.
To be in with a chance simply leave us a comment on the Cornwall Together group page. It could be an idea you've had of what we can do next, advice on how to save energy, or just a shameless plea for the prize! The one that we think is the best will get the lot.
So if you've already joined Cornwall Together head on over and give it a shot.
And if you haven't what are you waiting for? Anyone in the UK can enjoy the benefits.
I want to be carbon neutral. Does anyone know of any useful tools to help me, please?
To get things changed for the better seems so very difficult when you are a loan voice, a collective group of people means that voice is so much louder and effective. So rock on Cornwall Together!!
Congratulations Cornwall in leading the way. We're in Shetland - about as far away from Cornwall as you can get in the British Isles! Our energy problems are much the same, however. We have no mains gas and pay high prices for oil & LPG - despite huge quantities of oil & gas passing through Sullom Voe Terminal. A huge wind farm is planned but we would see little benefit in terms of electricity prices. Hopefully collective buying will help reduce fuel poverty - a particularly acute problem in remote areas with hostile climates!
Agree - come on Cornwall !!!!!
Community power is the way to keep Cornwall the place we want to live in . Let's help each other in collective initiatives like this, show other regions we can make it work and join together for Cornwall.
