Carry Me Bikes is a new social enterprise in Hackney, London that promotes cargo bikes as a low-energy alternative to cars and vans. Cargo bikes are specially-designed bicycles that safely transport children and items without causing local pollution or CO2 emissions. We're running some demonstration projects at the moment, such as helping Chatsworth Road Market traders to get their stuff to the market by bike instead of taxi or car, and we put on family bike rides with the cargo bikes in safe areas such as Victoria Park. We're selling cargo bikes and generally promoting them as a green, non-polluting, healthy, low-energy alternative to cars and vans.
