About this group
We are a local community football club that caters for children from 5 to 18 years. Carr Vale is an old coal mining community, but is now one of the most deprived areas of the country.
Our changing room and toilet facility is in a wooden building that is 50 years old. All those years are telling on the structure and it now needs constant attention to prevent it collapsing and becoming unusable.
Before the building does collapse we plan to build a new one that is environmentally friendly, with our energy needs met by either solar or wind power. We have enough spare land to install whichever option is the most efficient. Any funding to help with this project would be appreciated.
