If you haven’t used you vote in the large project category yet, please can I ask you to consider supporting HARBURY ENERGY INITIATIVE?
Harbury is the smallest community in the voting group and we are competing against five others - including big cities like Sheffield and Manchester. And we are doing well! A vote for Harbury will say that small groups and communities wherever they are can make a significant difference. In a nutshell, our bid is to make a number of our village community buildings more energy efficient. If we win we will use the buildings to demonstrate how many ways there are, and how easy it is, to save householders money and deliver the kind of reduction in carbon and energy use that we need across the country.
We want our children and grandchildren to look forward to a bright and sustainable future - but what do they want? We asked Harbury School children what they want the world to be like in 2050. See theHarbury group page for their voices of the future they want!
Please gIve harbury your Vote.
If you haven’t used you vote in the large project category yet, can I ask you to consider supporting The Hub Lyme Regis?
What makes the Hub special is its deep social impact. As well as adopting a progressive energy strategy, it’s a new project that reaches into the heart of our community, valuing young people and giving them the best start in life we can. We haven’t had a youth centre for a long time so this is a fresh start with lots of local good will to make it work. The Hub Lyme Regis is about vision, optimism, support and a unique moment to create something very special. It’s a very good story.
